VHB is a global leader in providing solutions for more efficient movement of people and goods across all modes of transportation. They were awarded the MBTA Rail Vision project.
Their charge was to identify cost-effective strategies to transform the existing Commuter Rail system into one that better supports improved mobility and economic competitiveness in the Greater Boston region. To do so, they had to engage with the riders and public officials to help inform service alternatives that would transform the system.
BG was added to the team to conduct community outreach and collect feedback from riders about service alternatives. We connected with riders through traditional and new media tactics providing valuable insights to VHB. One of these tactics was to develop an interactive quiz to be completed by the MBTA ridership to determine their ridership habits. In addition to the launch of the interactive quiz, the BG creative team developed printed mailers to promote in-person Open Houses designed to collect additional feedback.
